Joining a Self Insured Group begins with underwriting. There is a standard “Acord” application and some additional paperwork so Self Insured Solutions’ underwriters can go to work on your behalf.

Your insurance broker or agent can help you with this process. Self Insured Solutions works with many insurance agencies throughout the state, and you can obtain more detailed information about our programs and a competitively priced quote from your agent.

Once the application has been submitted, Self Insured Solutions takes pride in performing detailed underwriting of all prospective members, including a hands-on inspection of the employer’s place of business.

Our underwriters are in constant contact with the field force, communicating daily with our loss control staff and agency partners to ensure that each prospective member gets a fair quote.
