The California Contractors Network SIG Board of Director’s is pleased to announce our seventh annual scholarship program. CCN wishes to help provide for the educational future of our children and grandchildren. Therefore, we hope to continue our CCN Scholarship Program on an annual basis.

 Eight (8) CCN Scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to qualified recipients selected from all applications postmarked on or before July 18, 2012. The late fees collected from the groups’ members fund these scholarships. The scholarship is open to all member companies’ employees. This includes the children, step-children and/or grandchildren of those employees. Siblings are not eligible.

 In order to be considered for a scholarship, an applicant must provide all of the information requested, including (1) the Application; (2) two letters of recommendation (3) a complete copy of the applicant’s official transcripts (i.e., certified by the learning institution with a raised seal or other official attestation) (unofficial transcripts will not be accepted); (4) a resume; and (5) a typewritten essay, no longer than two pages, based upon the two topics provided with the application form.

Please note: if a scholarship application is missing any of the required information by the end of the day on July 18, 2012 or if the information provided is faulty (example:  the applicant submits unofficial transcripts) then the applicant will not be considered.

 Two (2) CFM Scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each will be awarded to qualified recipients selected from all applications postmarked on or before July 18, 2012. The late fees collected from the groups’ members fund these scholarships. The scholarship is open to all member companies and their employees. This also includes the children and/or grandchildren of those employees. Siblings are not eligible.
